ScanMyVid also listens to the audio: a spoken address or number is flagged like everything else.
Does ScanMyVid blur the video for me?
No, and that's deliberate. ScanMyVid gives you the exact list of clips to handle, frame by frame. You blur or cut in your editing software, with the result you choose. On Pro and Studio plans, alerts arrive directly as markers in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Can ScanMyVid miss something?
No tool is infallible, and you remain the final reviewer. ScanMyVid is tuned to let nothing slip through rather than to avoid false alerts: a false alert costs you two seconds, a missed number can cost far more.
What happens to my video?
It's stored privately in Europe, accessible only to your account, and deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. Detected text is encrypted at rest. Your videos are never used to train a model.

How long does an analysis take?
The video is split into 5-minute slices analyzed in parallel: analysis time grows slowly with footage length, and a multi-hour stream doesn't take hours. Analysis keeps running even if you close the tab.
How are minutes counted?
Per minute of video analyzed: a 12-minute video uses 12 minutes of your plan. If you run out, you can add 100 minutes for €10, without changing plans.
What does the free preview include?
One video, with its first 3 minutes analyzed. You see the timeline, the number of alerts, and their category. The detected content stays hidden until you subscribe: it isn't even sent to your browser.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions have no commitment and can be canceled from your account in a few clicks. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
